Retention
Retention is the phase of orthodontic treatment that helps to keep teeth in their corrected position after correction with orthodontic (dental) braces. Without retention there is a tendency for the teeth to return to their initial position. This unfavorable change from the corrected position is known as relapse. Excel Orthodontics offers several types of Retention Appliances, including Hawley Retainers, Invisible Retainers (essix), and Bonded Lingual Retainers.
