STANDARD BIONATOR (TO OPEN BITE)

STANDARD BIONATOR (TO OPEN BITE)

A removable functional appliance that helps in the advancement of the mandible. Acrylic coverage over the mandibular anteriors stops the unwanted eruption of anterior teeth and allows the eruption of posterior teeth. An expansion screw may be added for extra expansion needs. We have added a helical loop to the bow to give it extra flexibility to cut down on wire fatigue, it is called the Olympic Labial Bow.

Laboratory requirements are upper and lower casts and a bite registration with the mandible postured forward.

STANDARD BIONATOR (TO CLOSE BITE)

STANDARD BIONATOR (TO CLOSE BITE)

A removable functional appliance that helps in the advancement of the mandible. Acrylic coverage over the occlusal surfaces of the posterior teeth allows the anterior teeth to erupt closing the bite. We have added a helical loop to the bow to allow it extra flexibility to cut down on wire fatigue.

Laboratory requirements are upper and lower casts and a bite registration with the mandible postured forward.

STANDARD TWIN BLOCKS

STANDARD TWIN BLOCKS

Twin Blocks consist of two separate appliances that are worn on upper and lower arches at the same time. The upper appliance is constructed with an expansion screw and bite blocks over molars.  The lower appliance is constructed with bite blocks over the bicuspids.  The bite blocks are cut at a 70 degree angle so they fit together forcing the mandible in a forward position.  Labial acrylic or extra clasps may be added for extra retention as needed.

Twin Blocks

Twin Blocks are designed to be worn full time by the patient.

Laboratory requirements are upper and lower casts and a bite registration with the mandible postured forward.

TWIN BLOCK WITH BITE JUMP SCREWS

TWIN BLOCK WITH BITE JUMP SCREWS

Same as the Twin Block. Bite adjusting screws are added to the upper bite blocks for easier adjustment to help posture the mandible forward.

Laboratory requirements

Laboratory requirements are upper and lower casts and a bite registration with the mandible postured forward.
