Transpalatal Arch (TPA)

The TPA helps stabilize the molar position. An omega loop is added for adjusting.

Can be constructed as a removable or fixed appliance.

Nance Holding Arch

The Nance Holding Arch is used to stabilize and keep the molars from drifting forward.

Can be constructed as a removable or fixed appliance.

Lower Lingual Arch (LLA)

The lingual wire either contours or slightly contours the arch. Can be soldered to the bands or be removable by using .036 lingual sheathes attached to the bands (as shown in picture).  The arch may be constructed with or without adjusting loops.

IBLR (Indirect Bonded Lingual Retainer)

The same as the Bonded Lingual 3 to 3 but uses a 1mm soft Biostar material to hold it in place while bonding.

Bonded 3 to 3

The bonded lingual wire is contoured to the lingual of the anteriors with loops for the bonding agent. Doctors have the option to specify the type and size of wire and if the wire is to be bent without loops.

IPC Maxillary Molar Distalizer

The IPC Maxillary Molar Distalizer provides distal molar movement and limits mesial movement through the incorporation of a Nance button. The tubes guide the maxillary first molars during distalization. Activation takes place by compressing the NiTi open coil springs against the molar tubes.

IPC E-Arch (Arnold) Expander

Ideal for transverse expansion of maxillary or mandibular arches where patient compliance is a concern. A tube-like framework is located on half of the arch which is connected to the IPC on the opposing side. Activation occurs by sliding the collar anteriorly along the IPC, compressing the NiTi open coil spring against the tube.
